Cultural exposure is a great chance to broaden your horizon and develop your personality. This is how Nate sums up his participation in the Global New Horizon Program. For three months, he swapped his workplace in Zurich for EY‘s Tel Aviv office and experienced a very different working culture and lifestyle. Enjoy his extensive insights here!

It is my pleasure to present you today some of my new colleagues from the Transfer Pricing team in Tel Aviv. As you can see, from this picture, the dressing code is not as strict as in other EY locations. I really appreciate the very collaborative and positive team spirit here. We often go for lunch together – either at the EY canteen here in the Midtown Office Tower or somewhere outside. One place I would like to recommend is Breadly (https://breadly-tlv.co.il/) – they serve home-made hot food, nice salads with a decent variety and fresh sandwiches on healthy bread. Oh, and there is also a great Shawarma place just around the corner – do you know Shawarma? If not, you should check it out 😀 #EY #EYIsrael #TelAviv

Let me present you the EY offices in Tel Aviv … Kost Forer Gabbay & Kasierer (EY Israel) is part of the Americas Area, which comprises member firms in 31 countries. There are four EY offices in Israel: Beer Sheba, Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv office has approximately 1500 employees, serving clients in the areas of assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. Last year, EY Israel moved its Tel Aviv offices to the Midtown Office Tower at Menachem Begin Street , where it owns 21 of the 50 floors. The Midtown Office Tower is an innovative urban complex that integrates office towers, residences, shops, galleries, clubs, restaurants, cafes and lively street life, at walking distance from the business and cultural centers of Tel Aviv: close to the Tel Aviv Museum, the Camari Theater and the Opera and just minutes from the cafes and restaurants of Ibn Gvirol and all the good things the city has to offer. Midtown Tel Aviv succeeded in its audacity to redefine the boundaries of the city center and generated great interest in all the surrounding area. #betterworkingworld #welcometoey
